Rise of the Sneaky Ys
Having followed the path to empowerment in its struggle against 'toxic masculinity', the feminist movement finds itself in a stranger place. Its flag of victimhood has been phagocyted by the fringe letter-soup gender community, and from the other side have emerged the new figureheads of the movement: persons with dangly Y chromosomes tucked in undergarments of oppression.
Alrighty then. Makes about as much sense as everything else lately.
Who could have imagined that so many women would support the introduction of dangly bits in their private areas, you know, bathrooms, locker rooms, prison cells.... Or that women would cheer men winning sporting competitions against biological females, or support men harrassing other women for being feminists.
Not even the Patriarch himself could have dreamed of such glorious capitulation. All it took was some makeup and a dress, and the fifth column was in like flynn, mixing among the females who have never heard of chromosomes, and those who have but think it's a social construct. Toss in a pregnant man emoji and the science is settled.
So according to these women, men are –let's just say it– better than females at being women. And anyone who dares say otherwise gets a knuckle sandwich, cause that's how girls roll. Which is precisely what is happening to certain women who go around saying hateful things about sneaky Ys. These gender bender offenders are known in the cult as TERFs, which is easier to pronounce than WWKTMANW (Women Who Know That Men Are Not Women).
But not all TERFs are like J.K. 'Yer a lizard, Arry' Rowling, protected by legions of fans who will destroy her mudblood foes. Women like swimmer Riley Gaines and old-school feminist Posie Parker were recently assaulted by tolerant hordes of cross-dressing males and the belles that love them for trying to speak in public about the sneaky dangly Ys.
Well, it may seem odd for men and women to find common ground but weird circumstances make for strange bedfellows. Large numbers of men who identify as males suffering attraction to females can't help but agree with these 'radical' feminists who are sounding the alarm at the erasure of their very identity as birthing capable units.
As Posie Parker puts it, 'the only persons allowed to actually call themselves women are men.'
These men can savor the irony, and give Camille Paglia her due for having predicted this state of affairs as the way empires end, not with a wang but a limper.
It turns out that these men have their own definition of what makes a man toxic, and it has nothing to do with sexual orientation but basic values. Men who exploit a culture of tolerance to expose themselves in the lady rooms are toxic. Men who use their physical advantage to beat women in sports are toxic. Men who physically assault women are toxic, even in a dress. Men who groom children under the veneer of queer culture are toxic.
Men who pretend whatever it takes to get a piece of that soup-letter booty... well, that might be sneaky, but no honest man can begrudge their sacrifice. Take one for the team.
So after decades invoking the evils of toxic masculinity, well, there it is. Why do so many women not recognize it? Maybe because they're looking in all the wrong places. Or maybe because at the end of the day the whole concept is just critical theory drivel.
There is no such thing as toxic masculinity or toxic femininity, just toxic men and women. Not abstract concepts but real people, not generalizations but concrete examples.
In the gender wars, they are the only winners. Open the door to them at your own risk.
