Normieville still can't scratch the itch. That's what makes humans so tasty: smart enough to suffer, but not enough to figure out why. And even if one figures out why, just knowing doesn't solve it. Maybe that's why this year it took extra effort to rekindle the spirit of gratitude. Beyond the usual suspects -health, love, bacon- options are short in the thanks-to-give department.
2023 started under the leitmotif of the Siren Song and it has been playing strong all year, as shown in the official stats for excess deaths. So we can't give thanks that the cull is over or the perpetrators of the great -and ongoing- genocide have been taken down. Or that the WEFtard clown world agenda is dead and buried. Or that the warmongers have gone out of business.
But there is no lack of tanks. Business is booming for the MIC with the new low-budget 9-11 with paragliders instead of airplanes, in the place known as the holey land on account of all the bomb craters. Seems they want to build a canal there, so the place has to be cleared and levelled.
Unlike 9-11, however, Normieville today is not so sure who the bad guys are and is more questioning of the official narrative. This is what happens after twenty years of 5-Gen war under the guise of a 'global war on terror': Bin Laden (aka Tim Osman the agency asset) going viral to bemuse Gen Z even further. Being dead in no way impedes the use of such assets in the mindfuck wars....
So basically the Moar Woar doctrine which, among other perks, keeps Normieville distracted from the collapse of Ukraine, where the grinder keeps grinding but the meat's running low. The conflict there is at that awkward moment when the final outcome is obvious but no-one wants to be the first to admit it. Regardless of how the war came to be, the fact is that Ukraine rejected an early peace agreement and sent hundreds of thousands to die futile deaths... and still lost the war. Somewhere under Kiev there is a bunker with a loaded gun waiting, and if some folks knew their history, they would know what comes next....
While the end of the death & destruction in Ukraine would be good news, a very unpredictable scenario of power void and regime change will follow. One issue in particular is what will happen with the political prisoners of the current regime. Because it has been four months since Gonzalo Lira was detained trying to cross the border into Hungary and there has been absolutely nothing from him or on him since. The assumption is that he's in a hard labor camp, as Gonzalo himself predicted in his last posted videos. He called it a 'death sentence' because of his heart condition.
One would like to think that if the war ends and the current regime falls, non-violent dissenters will be released. But this can only happen if Ukraine rids itself of the right sector stranglehold, because nazis are the kind of trash that take revenge on the helpless when they're getting crushed on the battlefield. Depending on the level of blowback against the current regime, the new regime may even be essentially antifascist. In that case, there could be room for hope regarding Gonzalo and all others jailed for opposing war. If only there was room for Assange too...
Room for hope. Not quite hope itself, but the room one keeps ready in case it happens to visit. When the madness of the world lies heavy and the tanks outnumber the thanks, we are grateful this room exists, because it's never amiss to be ready for what the new year may have in store.
As for you, dear reader, please accept this dispatch's heartfelt thanks and don't forget Gonzalo Lira.
Dispatch out.
Cogent, Insightful.
As always.
Thank you and many blessings - ❤️
